Our trendy 2008 Scion xB is leading the evolution as the first coffee caR of its kind. An efficient layout enables our baristas to prepare specialty coffee beverages with ease. The caRs are equipped to serve an entire menu of hot and cold beverages. Our state-of-the-art xB's are fully self-contained and functional for both indoor and outdoor use. It's never been done like this before!

We charge a service fee of $50.00 per hour, per vehicle when booking events. All drinks are made-to-order and can be purchased in two ways:
1.Pre-paiD drinks - You can buy drink tickets in advance to hand out to all of your friends or just start a drink tab and we'll take care of the rest.
2. Cash coffee baR - everyone springs for their own drinks. We also accept debit/credit cards for those who like plastic.

envIronMent - ethos RedefiNed!
David De Rothschild, founder of Adventure Ecology said it best "I am a strong believer in the Native American proverb 'We don't inherit the earth; we are merely borrowing it from our children.'
WHAT WE DO - One of the best ways to ensure eco-friendly practices is to implement them from the beginning. Not everything we do is on a grand scale, but the old saying is true, "every little bit helps." All of us at EC ~ ethos coffee are aware of the impact we have on the environment. This awareness informs many of our decisions from our office and commissary, to how we roast our beans. We have recently acquired a state of the art afterburner that will eliminate smoke and odor during the roasting process; most importantly it will reduce VOC's (volatile organic compounds) by 90%.The CO2 emissions are virtually eliminated "simply by having an afterburner". :) We're proud to have one!
SOME OF THE OTHER THINGS WE DO - our partners agreed to buy three 150cc Robot scooters with California carburetors that get about 80 miles per gallon to reduce the costs we're incurring at the gas pumps. It costs about $2.75 each time we fill up. NICE!
We try to show respect for our neighbors, the environment, and the areas we bring coffee to; we aren't where we'd like to be yet but our goal is to make every effort to be environmentally conscious and to do our part to reduce our environmental impact through recycling and waste reduction.
THE FUTURE - ethos coffee co. will incorporate the WE "energies of tomorrow" program ~ renewable sources like biomass decomposition, small hydroelectric plants, solar energy, and BIG in the Midwest-Wind power. Since gas will be one of our biggest expenditures we will also be looking at gas friendly and gas free technologies such as E85 ethanol, hybrids, electric, and fuel cell systems that use zero gasoline and produce zero emissions.

If there's one thing ethos coffeeT is serious about, it's making the best coffee possible. To achieve this, we needed to work with the best. The mad coffee scientists at Sleepless CoffeeT have been roasting coffee in Seattle for years and are obsessed with striving for the perfect cup. Together, we're keeping the edge in coffee roasting by bringing you our signature Code Orange Espresso blend. Our coffee speaks for itself because great coffee says it all.
breW RevieW
Here are a few tips for brewing the ultimate cup of ethos coffee. No worries, we're not talking about rocket science, just a few things to make sure you're getting the most out of your ethos coffeeT beans.
Using a French press (aka press pot) is hands down the best way to enjoy our coffee at home. All you need is a timer and some freshly ground ethos coffee. It's that easy!
Step 1: Fill French press with hot water to heat the glass and then empty it. Add 4 spoonfuls of ethos coffee to the French press. Feel free to adjust this amount to your tastes.
Step 2: Pour boiling water evenly over coffee grounds, leaving about 2 inches of space at the top. Position the French press top so the screen is resting on the surface and set
timer for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Once timer goes off, push the press slowly into the pot, forcing the grounds to the bottom. Then pour and Enjoy! Makes about 2 cups.
Another great way to prepare our coffee is with an espresso machine. Since our blend was created for pulling thick creamy shots, you can't go wrong. Here are a few suggestions:
- Fresh bottled or filtered water
- Use a fine grind
- Pour steamed milk over shots right away
And finally, if a drip brewer is more your style, we recommend you just brew what you need. Brewed coffee is always best when it's hot and fresh.
KeepiN'' iT fResh
For storage, we recommend storing whole beans in an airtight ceramic canister that blocks light. If stored at room temp, beans will stay fresh for one to two weeks. Resist the urge to store your ethos coffeeT beans in the fridge and/or freezer, which can affect taste and quality. If you want your coffee to taste as fresh as possible, grind it just before you make a new pot.
